Roomex, the online hotel booking platform for business travel, is launching a brand new hotel booking engine on Wednesday at the London Business Travel Show 2016. Roomex offers corporate rates at over 550,000 hotels worldwide and has saved its clients on average 21% against BAR in the last 12 months. The new booking platform will build on developments in 2015 and result in an even faster and easier booking process.
Roomex now has offices and local staff throughout all of Ireland and The UK. Our two central offices are in Dublin and London, but we now also have Roomex staff on the ground locally. If at any stage you would like to see or talk about Roomex, and how it can save your business time and money, please don't hesitate to 'Request a Demo' at the top of this page. Our initial demo takes about 15 minutes to do online over the phone, but we're more than happy to come our and meet with you too. And, since we have no set up fees or contracts, there's no pressure to buy, we're happy for you to just try it !
We've had an incredible run of awards and nominations in the last few months, here's a summary:
Roomex, the leading corporate hotel booking service, today announced a major service upgrade which will lead to vastly improved booking speeds. “One minute bookings are now very much the reality” says Jack Donaghy, CEO at Roomex. “For many months, our corporate clients have been able to save their most frequently visited locations, key hotels, contact information and even company cost codes as part of their booking process.
Jack our CEO and Michael our Sales Director recently joined top travel buyers and suppliers from Ireland and Britain who gathered in Dublin to participate in the inaugural Irish edition of the Buying Business Travel Forum. The event was billed as a half-day session for everyone responsible for controlling business travel expenditure and the discussion was frank and informative throughout.
The end of year awards season is firmly upon us and we’ve had a busy couple of weeks at Roomex. Matt, our Director of Contracting attended the Eircom Spiders awards in the Convention Centre Dublin and the very next night Michael, Sales Director was in the same venue for the Irish Export Awards.
Exhilarating, inspiring, exhausting, profitable, incredible, enormous, crazy. Just some of the adjectives we used to describe this year’s Dublin Web Summit which Roomex attended on all three days. The record 22,000 delegates held 10,000 face to face meetings fuelled by over 100,000 cups of coffee served by Nespresso alone. Not bad for an event that only started four years ago with 400 attendees. Oh, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t great.
