Bigger and brighter than ever the Business Travel Show 2018 was a real success.
Now in its 24th year, the Business Travel show is Europe’s largest specialised event for business travel. This years’ event occupied more floor space than ever in the beautiful main hall at Olympia. Roomex attended for the fifth straight year with a bigger presence than we had to date. Our team travelled in from Dublin, Bristol, London and Manchester and we enjoyed a packed diary as the Roomex message on visibility, control and savings around corporate hotel programmes gets ever more traction among the 7000 travel specialists in attendance. As an ever-expanding company Roomex uses Business Travel Show to touch not only British companies but those in Europe and indeed worldwide. We were delighted to welcome customers and prospects alike to the stand, including the Travel Manager of our first ever customer, Central Bank of Ireland, which has been with Roomex since 2012 and continues to rely on our platform to ensure their team stay in the most appropriate business-level hotel globally.
We were delighted to meet many travel buyers for the first time and have an extensive list of follow-up contacts which will keep our team busy for the coming weeks. They were impressed by our no fee model which provides benchmarking, speed and a depth of content that is not available through any other corporate hotel platform.
Travel is an ever-evolving sector and often at the leading edge of technology.
